Nice weather

Today for the first time this year to Herdla. Lately there were many reports from Herdla: geese, divers and other winter stuff. But not today. Very nice weather with slow birding, only producing a Lapland Bunting worth mentioning. Further the first White Wagtail and Dunnock.
Last week some birding in Bergen with two Golden Eagles at Bontveit and a Grey-headed Woodpecker at LeirvÄgen-Korsnes, the latter being new for my Bergen list.

Thrush ans Bunting

At Flesland I twitched the Mistle Trush successfully today. It was among a group of Fieldfares and Starlings. I didn't get any decent views as the group behaved very restless and I saw the bird only in bad light, but heard it several times. As a bonus I had a flyby Lapland Bunting, which was a new Bergen species for me.
Further the first Song Thrushes of the year and a group of fifteen Mealy Redpolls.
