Herdla is often best during bad weather in the wader-season. Today it was raining and indeed, it proved to be good. No special birds, but good numers. Some 400 Golden Plovers, 200 Ruff, 40 Bar-tailed Godwits, 100 Ringed Plovers, 150 Dunlin, six Little Stint, 30 Common Snipes, two Red Knots, one Curlew, four Grey Plovers, one Curlew Sandpiper and two Shellducks.
Also good numbers of Meadow Pipit and White Wagtail.
